Come visit us! Our hospitality center, in the heart of the part of town that remained untouched during the recent attack of the undead, is ready and waiting to make you feel welcome. Learn about the history of Harwood from volunteer docents, shop on historic Main Street, or just catch some of the community spirit that rises up throughout our little town!

Places of Interest

Rural Route 29734, sometimes called “Harwood’s Favorite Drive”, provides stunning vistas of the natural history of the area.

Harwood Cemetery, built in 1873. Currently closed for reburial of the re-dead and reinforcement of the perimeter.

Harwood Lake, a man-made lake on the campus of Harwood Community College, a two-year liberal arts college located in the foothills of the Harwood Hills, draws fishermen from as far as Rosemont to frolic on the 800 feet of shoreline.
