There’s a reason why Harwood is known as “The Town That Can Come Back To Life.” With much of the town being rebuilt in the aftermath of the recent unfortunate events, there are many opportunities for new retail businesses, quaint cafes and restaurants, or industrial manufacturing plants.
The Harwood Main Street Association (HMSA) is working closely with local government to preserve the historical architecture inexplicably spared by the undead in order to retain a vibrant small town feel.
If you’re considering relocating your business to a town with friendly folks, no state income tax, and a distinct lack of zombies, Harwood is the place!

Harwood Main Street Association
The HMSA is a dedicated group of business owners working to revitalize Harwood’s historic downtown business district and preserve the part of town untouched by zombies. The HMSA was awarded Texas State Historical Preservation status in June in recognition of its efforts to promote commerce, to create a center of community life for those affected by the attack of the undead, and to preserve a small town atmosphere easily accessible to those traveling by car and on foot. The HMSA meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at Harwood Library. Check our Facebook page for times.
