Harwood has experienced a dramatic decrease in growth over the past year, but still boasts a quaint small town atmosphere.
Clean-up on the eastern side of town near Harwood Cemetery is almost complete, and the State of Texas has certified that not a single carnivorous corpse has been spotted in over nine months.
New and unique retail, antique and craft collectible shops have sprung up in the areas destroyed by the undead. If you’re considering relocating your business to a town with friendly folks, no state income tax, and a distinct lack of zombies, Harwood is the place!

Hey, Harwood residents! This is a post direct from Mayor Charlene Taylor and not my interns pretending to be me, like on Twitter. Remember last year when those theatre people from the Catharsis Collective were wandering the town, interviewing folks so as to put our exact words in a play? Well, I just got word that they will be presenting that play in San Francisco! I hope they pick someone gorgeous to play me!
If all goes well, they say they’ll be bringing the play here so we can see ourselves onstage and gain what they call “closure,” which is apparently something that can only come through the power of live theatre. So if you know anyone in San Francisco, send ‘em to Sleepwalkers Theatre. And quit asking about royalties; y’all were told those release forms were binding. Thanks!
